Case Review: Fibromyalgia, Rheumatoid Arthritis

History & Diagnosis

A 30-year-old female presented to our center in search of treatment and relief from a wide range of symptoms she had been experiencing for nearly a decade, including rashes, joint and foot pain, brain fog, fatigue, and digestive issues. She had been seeing Rheumatology for many years and was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA), and Fibromyalgia. She had tried many treatments, including many medications that suppressed the immune system, without any relief from symptoms. When she presented to the center, she was feeling fairly hopeless. Fibromyalgia is a complex illness, and patients usually have chronic diffuse musculoskeletal pain, fatigue, sleep issues, mood symptoms, and cognitive complaints. It is typically given as a diagnosis of exclusion, which means that no other diagnosis explains the symptoms.

Evaluation

A comprehensive analysis of the patient revealed the following:

• High tissue toxicity – 18 on Dr. Schimmel’s scale
  • Dr. Schimmel’s scale involves a toxicity score ranging from 0-21. As a reference, a normal range for a healthy individual is considered 1-8.
• High tissue acidity
• Heavy metals
• Autonomic nervous system (ANS) dysregulation
• Foci (inflammation) in the pelvis 
• Multiple infections, including viruses, bacteria, fungi, and parasites 
• Nutritional deficiencies, including multiple minerals and vitamins

Fibromyalgia is a complex condition affecting a patient physically, emotionally, and mentally. The root causes of any diagnosis may be different for each patient. With this patient, we saw a remarkable improvement in many symptoms after identifying and treating her specific underlying disturbances.

Treatment

The patient began a personalized treatment plan, including oral supplementation with various vitamins, minerals, and homeopathic remedies. Initial in-center therapies focused on detoxification, including intravenous and intramuscular homeopathics, neural therapy, biomagnetic therapy, BioCharger, and light-based therapies (Bioptron light therapy and Stellar Delux electronic gem therapy). Homeopathy is a natural but powerful way to get correct information to the body so that the body’s natural state can begin to be restored. The Biocharger machine uses pulsed electromagnetic fields, plasma gas, micro-currents, and light therapy to transmit specific frequencies to help cells regenerate to their optimal voltages. Biomagnets help restore proper pH, and there are many different pair patterns depending on the patient’s condition. The patient responded well to the integrative approach, improving with the combination of multiple healing modalities.

After completion of her initial phase of treatments, she was already starting to have significant improvements in her energy levels as well as a noticeable decrease in her chronic pain. She then received additional intravenous treatments to target her remaining pathogens specifically, and upon completion, she continued to notice additional symptom improvement. After, she received intravenous NAD (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) to restore function to the mitochondria and increase cellular energy. After this, she saw a biological dentist and had her metal amalgam fillings removed, as these can be a major source of heavy metals. Afterwards, she completed her treatments with intravenous chelation. 

Results

Upon completing her personalized treatment plan, the patient’s toxicity score improved significantly—from 18 to 9. Her autonomic nervous system showed strong signs of regulation, heavy metal levels had markedly decreased, and infections had either cleared or significantly diminished.

On her final day at the center, she shared that she was feeling well and had experienced meaningful relief from many of her initial symptoms. After nearly a decade of persistent fatigue and pain, she reported a dramatic improvement in both. Where she had once arrived feeling hopeless, she now left with a renewed sense of hope and profound gratitude.
